Delete your HTV account

You can delete your HTV account, and everything our server holds for it, at any time.

From the app

1. Open HTV on any phone, tablet or TV that is signed in to the account.
2. Go to Account (the profile button at the top, then Account).
3. Choose Delete account and confirm with your password.

If you have forgotten the password, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen first; a code is emailed to you.

Without the app

If you no longer have a device with HTV, email htv@asamy.net from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Your name, email address and password; the playlists you synced, including their encrypted passwords; your watch progress and history, your list, your likes and dislikes, your profiles and settings; and the list of devices signed in to the account. It is removed from our server straight away, not kept for a period.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Film and series details looked up from TMDB and OMDb are shared by every user and were never linked to your account, so they stay. What is on your own devices stays there until you uninstall the app or sign out on that device.
